Recording King RK-80 submitted 7/18/2008 Submitter warningbomb Where Purchased Fitch Banjos Year Purchased 2008 Price Paid 1100 ($US) Sound I play bluegrass with a little jazz and this thing played amazing right out of the box! Of course Kudos to Cliff Fitch who did the set up for me. It is fairly loud with a real bright high notes and more mellow lows. Sound Rating 10 Setup Good setup by Cliff. Only complaint is one of the thumbscrews for the resonater was cross threaded.. Setup Rating 9 Appearance Looks pertty... I'm not a big gold fan so the nickle suits me well, and the inlays are good looking along with the white trim around the neck and the rings on the resonator give it a little extra Appearance Rating 10 Reliability Seems like this banjo will last for long time.
